Alton Morris, from Alton in Hampshire, have been dancing Border Morris since 1991 when women first joined the men in the side. The red and green tatters on their black jackets as well as the half red/half green faces are traditional to Alton which has a brewing heritage. The dancing is vigorous and noisy and can't fail to bring a smile to your face! The side usually dances with long or short sticks and has a freewheeling style. Their set includes at least one joining in dance which is always popular with the crowd.
