What even is “contra”? In this workshop we’ll have some fun with the genre’s fuzzy edges. Nothing too complicated but, with luck, some delightful surprises. Anyone who can still take hands four (or six!) by this point in the weekend is welcome to join in. (P).

They’re best known for their energetic, driving music and matching tunes to dances. | Louise Siddons  Louise Siddons grew up surrounded by folk music and song. She is known on both sides of the Atlantic as a contra, English dance and ceilidh caller. |
