Bob is a a calm, friendly and accessible caller, bringing his love of teaching and teacher development to his workshops and the new caller showcase..

Bob calls for contra, Playford and ceilidh dances at a whole range of levels from chaotic LARP balls and PTAs to festivals like Chippenham, Sidmouth and Whitby.

He's been calling for over 15 years and has been a teacher for 8, he's particularly keen to bring what he's learnt about teaching into calling so the most people can access the most dancing and learn the most about dancing.

Bob calls in a calm clear manner, (he's even been described as "suave" to his great surprise) matching his calling to the audience in front of him. At Chippenham he will be calling mostly positionally. He's also excited to be working with some new(er) callers as professional development of callers is an area he is keen to see develop alongside some other excellent educators from the folk dance world.
