Terms and Conditions, Trading Times and FAQ for Traders at Chippenham
- Health and Safety
- You will be responsible for the health and safety of the general public, yourself and others around you and
must co-operate with festival organisers and supervisors at all times.
- Applications
- All applications and will be considered. Confirmations will be based on trying to achieve the best mix of trades.
The festival organisers reserve the right to refuse trade stand applications and without explanation.
- Liability
- Please make sure that you have appropriate insurance for your stock and equipment.
The festival organisers accept no liability for lost, damaged or stolen property.
- Confidentiality
- All information specified by you (other than that shown as public) is treated as strictly confidential and will be held securely.
- Rubbish
- You will be solely responsible for removal of any rubbish to the designated recycling point.
You are also responsible for clearing your stand area and restoring it to its original condition.
- Power
- Power MUST be booked and agreed prior to the event.
A supply will only be provided after your equipment has been PAT tested.
No sharing of power between stalls is permitted.
No personal Kettles / heaters are allowed in the Craft Tent ( A communal hot water urn will be available).
Stalls Limited to 10 Amps in the Craft tent.

- Food Traders

Hot water and hand washing facilities must be available and used regularly
Washable floor coverings must be used and in position before you open on the Friday
Gas canisters must be correctly stored within regulations before you open on Friday
Fridges and Freezers must be set to suitable temperatures
Public facing areas should be clean, well kept and inviting. You should also ensure publicity boards are within your designated areas.
Your Food Hygiene Rating must cover the time during the festival and we will only be accepting traders who have a 4 or a 5.
- Generators
- Are NOT allowed, except by prior agreement in very special cases.
- Paying
- Upon Accepting a Quote or an Invite, a deposit will be required.
You will be invoiced for the balancing payment one month before the Festival and must be paid before set up.
- Parking
- Very very few traders will be able to park on Island park behind their stalls, and then only by prior arrangement (put the request and dimensions in your notes).
Traders parking will be available nearby - at the Olympiad (just over the foot bridge), please request a parking permit.
- Vehicle Access
- After setup, limited access will be available in the mornings before 8:30 escorted only. By arrangement with the Island Park Manager.
- Food delivery
- Compostable/recyclable containers only. No single use plastics.
- Alcohol
- No Alcohol may be sold except by the main Bar Provider.

- Trading Times
- (non craft tent stalls may start earlier and finish later if they want)
- Friday 11am to 6pm
- Saturday 10am to 6pm
- Sunday 10am to 6pm
- Monday 10am to 6pm
- Set up
- Set Up from 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday and from 8 am to 11 am Friday. Please indicate arrival time if possible.
- Clear down

From 6 pm on Monday.
No vehicles will be allowed on site until 7 pm (The last event on Island Park finishes at 6:30).
Power can not be guaranteed after 7 pm on Monday evening
Traders must be out of the craft tent by 10 am on Tuesday and off site by midday Tuesday
- Tables
- You may book tables - 1.8 M x 0.75 M each table comes with 2 chairs. There is a charge.
- Camping
- Traders may camp at either of the festivals campsites (no charges), or in limited areas on Island park behind some pitches and behind the craft tent.
Space is very very limited. If you want space, please select the main campsites.
