Chippenham Folk Festival believes that folk music, dance and culture should be open to
everyone and we are committed to making our event as welcoming, inclusive and accessible
as is reasonably possible.
The festival is organised entirely by volunteers and takes place across a wide variety of
venues, including historic buildings, community halls, churches, pubs, schools, outdoor
spaces and temporary performance areas. While not every venue can offer the same level of
accessibility, we work hard to minimise barriers wherever reasonably practicable.
We want everyone to enjoy the festival and will do our best to support individual access
requirements.
Accessibility information is published on our website wherever possible and may include
details such as:
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate visitors with specific seating
requirements.
Please let us know your needs as early as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be
made, subject to venue capacity and safety requirements. Notwithstanding that the festival
does not own some of the venues used and may have limited control.
