Joska Hegedus Vincent (Bowreed Ceilidh) and Luke Shaw first met at Bath university ten years ago, and have since developed their characteristic style: a high-energy mixture of intricate melodies from Joska's fiddle and driving accompaniment from Luke's DADGAD guitar. Travelling extensively with a tent on his back, Joska has collated tunes from various fiddle styles, from the wild mountains of Donegal, to the rolling hills of the Clare to contemplative slow airs. Combining this with more local influences, they take you on an adventure with a unique sound, one that is distinctly Irishish!
