Ali and Philippe Barnes

Husband and wife duo Philippe & Ali Barnes will lead a predominantly Irish session, but include tunes from across the British Isles. Having performed as a duo together for many years they’re regulars on the session scene in London. Philippe (Flute/Whistles/Uilleann Pipes/Guitar) is a world renowned flautist and composer, currently touring the UK with Olivier award-winning show "Come From Away” - we’re lucky to have him on his day off! Ali (Fiddle) is an experienced performer specialising in Irish & Scottish traditional music, Ali runs award winning ceilidh band Licence to Ceilidh and does remote recording having recently played on the soundtrack to a Sky Mobile advert
