Shivelight

Shivelight is a balfolk duo from Oxfordshire, with Harriet Power on melodeon and Sam Doolin on fiddle. They play a variety of traditional, contemporary and self-penned tunes, mixing popular balfolk dances with regional French dances. From soulful mazurkas to groovy schottisches and lively jigs, they play with a sensitivity and creativity that is rooted in the pulse of the dance.
