The Morris Federation

Now in our 51st year, we are the UK’s largest association of morris and traditional dance teams, with around 500 member teams across the country representing a diverse range of dance styles. Each team brings its own distinctive style, energy and history, showcasing the rich variety that makes up the morris tradition today.

We understand how daunting it can be, stepping into a dance you have never tried before and so we are so pleased to be a part of Chippenham Folk Festival, presenting our beginner workshop 'First Steps in Morris'. You'll find us the Yelde Hall from 2.15pm on Sunday for this friendly and accessible session.
