Sandra Kerr

Sandra Kerr is a distinguished folk musician, praised for her "exceptionally good song-writing" and expressive voice (FRoots). A notable early part of her career was with Ewan MacColl’s Critics Group, leading to global tours and celebrated albums. A brilliant multi-instrumentalist (English concertina, dulcimer, guitar), she's famous as the co-writer of the iconic music for "Bagpuss"! Her powerful, politically charged songs reflect her feminist and radical politics. She continues to perform regularly, both solo and with friends and family across the world.
