Bath Youth Folk Band

Bath Youth Folk Band was set up in 2014. The senior group, led by acclaimed folk fiddler, Rachel Cross, plays and arranges a variety of folk tunes, as well as some of their own compositions. Members are aged between 8 and 18 and can join our training band, before moving onto our senior band, depending on age and experience. The bands meet in Bath once a month on a Saturday morning and tunes are learnt mostly by ear, although notation can also be provided. New members are always welcome in both bands and the students enjoy performing at festivals and charity events throughout the year. Contact rachelplayspiano@gmail.com for more details
