Chippenham Folk Festival CIC Ticket Refund Policy

  1. Our Approach
Chippenham Folk Festival is organised by a volunteer-led Community Interest Company.
Ticket income is essential to the financial viability of the festival and enables us to meet our
commitments to artists, venues, suppliers and contractors.
We recognise that, from time to time, circumstances change. This Policy explains when
refunds may be available and how requests will be considered. We aim to treat all ticket
holders fairly while ensuring that decisions are consistent and protect the Festival’s long-term
    sustainability.
  2. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
  3. Optional Ticket Refund Insurance
Ticket purchasers are offered the opportunity to purchase optional ticket refund insurance
    during the booking process.
The Festival encourages purchasers to consider taking out this insurance, as it may provide
cover for circumstances in which the Festival’s own Refund Policy does not allow a refund.
The Festival will not normally provide refunds for changes in personal circumstances, illness,
travel disruption or other events that may be covered by such insurance.
Any claim under a ticket insurance policy should be made directly to the insurance provider
in accordance with the terms and conditions of that policy.
  4. If You Change Your Mind
Tickets are generally non-refundable if you decide you no longer wish to attend the Festival.
Where possible, ticket holders who are unable to attend may transfer their ticket to another
person, subject to the Festival’s Ticket Purchase and Conditions of Entry.
